The Holy Transfiguration Monastery is a male monastic community of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad. Founded in 1982, the monastic community presided over by Hieromonk Sergius (Shatrov), abides in the pristine and rugged valley of the MacLaughlin River situated between Cooma and Bombala, New South Wales, Australia.

The natural surroundings of the monastery deeply influence the brotherhoods ascetical endeavors in the spiritual life. In making this website available as a spiritual and practical aid in relating to the monastery, we ask that any contact be given the greatest respect to help preserve the brotherhoods decision to not be a part of the world.

The sermons here on offer (propovedi in Russian) are from Archimandrite Alexis Rosentool. As new recordings are made in the cycle of the Church Liturgical Year, we will update them as they come to hand on this website for your edification and spiritual knowledge. Please log in to access.
